Application for the 2024 Acquisition-Only Competitive Grant Program will be available on our Grants Management System (GMS) beginning on Thursday, July 11, 2024. This Measure A competitive opportunity is for the acquisition of land that meets the goals of the Natural Lands, Local Beaches, Water Conservation and Protection Competitive Grant Program or the Regional Recreation, Multi-use Trails and Accessibility Competitive Grant Program. This program prioritizes urgent acquisitions in High or Very High Need Study Areas as well as trails connections and access, wildlife corridors, and critical habitat.
The deadline to submit an application is Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM (Pacific Time Zone). Guidelines for the program will be available on the Competitive Grants page.
