Hansen Dam Recreation Lake Facility
Construction of 10.5-acre man-made lake, divided into a swimming area and a recreational water area for non-powered boating, sailing and fishing. The lake features extensive filtering, chlorinating and disinfecting systems. The project includes related recreational facilities, including a sand beach, children’s wading/filtration pond, picnic areas, boat launching ramps and docks, fishing platforms and restrooms.
Expansion and refurbishment of an existing paved parking area, installation of a computer-operated irrigation system compatible with the future planned use of reclaimed water at the Orcas Picnic Area.
