TAP Allocations Guidelines Released

To ensure equitable access to Measure A resources, RPOSD created the Technical Assistance Program (TAP). TAP is designed to reduce barriers for entities located in High and Very High Need Study Areas, as defined in the 2016 Los Angeles Countywide Comprehensive Park and Recreation Needs Assessment (Park Needs Assessment). A full list of eligible entities by Study Area is included in the Appendix. TAP provides financial and professional support to help eligible entities plan, secure, and implement park projects that expand access to open space, particularly in communities with the greatest need. This year’s allocation includes $6.4 million in Measure A funds to support the planning, acquisition, and early development of new parkland in communities identified as having the highest levels of park need. Together with the previous allocation from 2022, a combined total of $15M has been made available to TAP eligible entities to support eligible activities that advance new parkland.
