SUMMARY:SYSTEM BLACKOUT PERIOD: Grants Management System Upgrade
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]RPOSD is upgrading to a new\, modern grants management system to make working with us easier and faster. As part of this upgrade\, the current grants management system (Legacy GMS) will be shut down starting April 25\, 2026 for up to three weeks\, through approximately May 18\, 2026. \nRegistered Legacy GMS users should have recently received a notice regarding the upgrade\, which includes important details on what to do and expect. If your agency has experienced staff changes recently\, please ensure that the proper staff are registered and informed. \nIf you have any questions or need help before the April 25\, 2026 deadline\, please email us at grants@rposd.lacounty.gov.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:FISCAL BLACKOUT PERIOD: All Grants and M&S
DESCRIPTION:Payment Requests will not be accepted during the June 15 – July 15 blackout period. Any payment requests received during the blackout period will be returned to sender via ‘Negotiation’ in the GMS for submission after July 15. Acceptance of Payment Request will resume starting the first business day following the period.  \nPlease note: The Blackout Period does not affect an agency’s allocations. Funds do not expire at the end of the Fiscal Year.
