Litigation Against Measure A Ends in RPOSD’s Favor

The litigation against Measure A that was filed early 2017 has now concluded in RPOSD’s favor. We Will continue our current progress in the release of Measure A funds for Annual Allocation Grant Programs, which includes the Community-based Park Investment Program and the Neighborhood Parks, Healthy Communities, &Urban Greening Program. These grants will be available soon, so keep an eye out for the upcoming application workshops announcements!

RPOSD will seek direction from the Board of Supervisors, acting in their capacity as RPOSD’s governing body, on when to move forward with the Competitive Grant Programs.   


Measure A Registration Webinar Now Available

You can now watch RPOSD’s Measure A Registration Webinar here. Please remember it is mandatory for a grantee to either attend or watch the workshop prior to registering into our Grants Management System. For more information and resources regarding this new process, please refer to the “Manage Your Measure A Grants” page on our website.

Annual Audit Statements Now Available

RPOSD’s independently audited financial statements for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2018 is now posted under our Guides and Report section and available to all as a reference.


Draft for Measure A Grants Administration Manual Available

Measure A’s Grants Administration Manual, the final document outlining grant guidelines and policies, will recommended for approval by the Board of Supervisors, acting in their capacity as RPOSD’s governing body, on January 29, 2018. The manual is reflective of the work the Measure A Steering Committee and echoes the goals and visions outlined in Measure A as well as the Proceedings of the Steering Committees. The draft, among other documents created in the Measure A implementation process, is posted in the ‘Measure A Implementation‘ section under the ‘Funding’ tab located on this website’s menu bar.

2018-2019 Maintenance & Servicing Excess Funds Program

Program funds are available to agencies whose Excess Funds projects are complete and the grants are closed.  Instructions for M&SE can be found in Part II of the updated Maintenance and Servicing Policy Memorandum.  Signed original Maintenance and Servicing Excess Funds payment requests must be received at the District no later than Wednesday, September 26, 2018 by 12:00 p.m.  For more information, please contact your Program Manager or call (626) 588-5060.
