Riverfront park featuring walking, jogging & biking paths plus a playground & basketball courts, grassy areas, picnic tables with access to the Los Angeles River.
This mini park is part of the RiverLink Open Space Master Plan and is located along the Los Angeles River between 21st Street and Hill Street. Proposition A funds were used for the design and construction of a greenway area with a walking path and playground.
Vincent Lugo Park grounds include lighted youth baseball diamond, youth multi-purpose athletic field, Laguna de San Gabriel Nautical (Dinosaur) Playground, picnic tables, barbecues, multipurpose trails, pedestrian bridges, restrooms and the Girl Scout House. The current project involves the development of a new play area and the installation of fitness equipment at the park.
Improvements to the playground, including: construction of a shade arbor and walk; construction of a wrought iron fence; relocation of a drinking fountain; installation of four new benches; construction of a concrete seat-wall at the play equipment area;
Expansion of the Pasadena Senior Center facility in Memorial Park. Final phase of the Memorial Park Senior Center to include: addition of building facade and cabling for the security, computer, and telephone systems.
Reconstruction of playgrounds at Central Park.
Installation of field lighting equipment including new poles and light fixtures, wires and conduit, switchgear and breakers, a new equipment cabinet and the addition of computer controlled programming equipment.
Replacement and rehabilitation of playground equipment at Eddie Park.
The project includes, but is not limited to, drainage improvements to the Multi-Purpose Sports Field. Reconstruction of playground.
Improvements to tennis court facilities to include: Resurfacing of 19 tennis courts and replacement of court lighting at Glorietta, Central, Fremont, Maple, Montrose, Emerald Isle and Nibley Parks; and Installation of a pre-fabricated restroom and bleachers at Glorietta Park tennis area.
