Grant funding was provided for the construction of the Encanto Nature Trail, a 1,200 foot-long trail and viewpoint along the San Gabriel River. The Encanto Nature Trail also features an interpretive display, an outdoor display board, a directional sign, and a small classroom for school field trips or community programs.
Design and construction of a 3,000 to 3,500 square foot structure to provide day- and after school care for school-age children. Structure consists of main activity and crafts rooms, a quiet time room, a director’s office, separate toilet rooms for adults and children, a storage room and a custodial/maintenance room.
Construction of 10.5-acre man-made lake, divided into a swimming area and a recreational water area for non-powered boating, sailing and fishing. The lake features extensive filtering, chlorinating and disinfecting systems.
