Grant funding was provided for improvements to the community room and included beautifying existing restrooms, access points, and roofing while keeping everyone comfortable and entertained with upgraded HVAC and audio visual systems.

Agoura Hills Recreation Center

The Agoura Hills Recreation & Event Center is open to the general public for a variety of programs and activities. The building serves as the new home for City of Agoura Hills’ Community Services staff as well as the Cultural Arts Council. In addition, there is a dedicated space for Senior Citizen programs and classes and a state of the art Teen Center, just to name a few things!

Grant funding was provided for the construction of the recreation center and the new outdoor education/interpretive center. More grant funding is being provided for the construction of a new trailhead and trail from the Recreation Center to connect to existing trails in the surrounding Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and the regional trail system.

Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area

This project is being completed in multiple phases and includes the following:
Replacement of existing shade structures with new prefabricated shade shelters as well as upgrades to walking paths and concrete pads. Expansion of the the existing parking lot at the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area Soccer Complex to accommodate an additional 36 parking spaces.
