2017-2018 Maintenance and Servicing Excess Funds Program

Program funds are available to agencies whose Excess Funds projects are complete and the grants are closed.  Instructions for M&SE can be found in Part II of the updated Maintenance and Servicing Policy Memorandum.  Signed original Maintenance and Servicing Excess Funds payment requests must be received at the District no later than Wednesday, October 4, 2017 by 12:00 p.m.  For more information, please contact your Program Manager or call (213) 738-2981.

Stage: Completed!

This mini park is part of the RiverLink Open Space Master Plan and is located along the Los Angeles River between 21st Street and Hill Street. Proposition A funds were used for the design and construction of a greenway area with a walking path and playground.

Stage: In Progress

Vincent Lugo Park grounds include lighted youth baseball diamond, youth multi-purpose athletic field, Laguna de San Gabriel Nautical (Dinosaur) Playground, picnic tables, barbecues, multipurpose trails, pedestrian bridges, restrooms and the Girl Scout House.  The current project involves the development of a new play area and the installation of fitness equipment at the park.

2016-2017 COMPETITIVE TREE PLANTING EXCESS FUNDS GRANT PROGRAM AWARDEES

On behalf of Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, we would like to thank everyone who submitted an application for consideration to the First Supervisorial District 2016-2017 Competitive Tree Planting Excess Funds Grant Program. The Board of Supervisors acting as the Board of the Regional Park and Open Space District (District) officially allocated the funding in December 2016.
